About The Event

Operation Holiday Joy brings the magic of the holiday season to local military families. Each year, Armed Services YMCA San Diego creates a joyful, dignified experience where junior-enlisted families can select gifts their children will love, easing some of the financial pressure of the season and reminding families that, even through deployments, separations, and the challenges of military life, their community is here for them. Pre-registration is required for all participating military families.

About The Event

The Big Bay Boom fireworks show is displayed from four barges on San Diego Bay at 9 PM. Bring your lawn chairs, friends and boats to watch from Shelter Island, Harbor Island, North Embarcadero, Marina District, Coronado Ferry Landing, and Boating/On The Water.

About The Event

The ASY Golf Classic is now one of the largest charity golf tournaments in San Diego County.

This best ball, shotgun start, charity golf tournament features a closest-to-the-pin contest, longest drive, mulligans, fantastic raffle items and more. All proceeds support local military families through the programs and services of the Armed Services YMCA San Diego. Make waves and create unforgettable Surf & Sand memories at ASYMCA's 2026 Annual Father-Daughter Dance! Grab your favorite beach, aloha, or luau-inspired attire and get ready to dance the night away with your special little girl(s). This magical evening is designed to celebrate the incredible bonds between active-duty dads, bonus dads, grandads, uncles, and the young girls who look up to them as heroes.

Enjoy a night filled with laughter, love, music, and Surf & Sand-inspired fun as you share a delicious dinner, hit the dance floor, create keepsake crafts, and capture memorable photos together. The evening will also feature exciting activities including a Friendship Bracelet Station, Glitter Bar, and Candy Bar -- all adding extra sparkle to this special celebration.

Don't miss this heartwarming event where lasting memories are made, hearts are full, and dancing shoes are put to good use. We can't wait to see you on the dance floor!

*This event is designed to provide a special bonding experience for Father figures and their little girls. In order to preserve the unique spirit of the evening, we kindly ask that moms refrain from attending. About The Event

Thousands of San Diego Unified school district children come from military families. Our school supplies drive helps minimize the financial hardship for junior enlisted military service members and their families with pencils, notebooks, folders, and more.

Each year the Armed Services YMCA San Diego provides school supplies to military kids, K- 8th grade, to reduce parents' stress and get our military kids ready for school.

Must show Active Duty Military ID at Check-In
