The Armed Services YMCA San Diego works to address the challenges of military service by ensuring no military family is left behind. For 80 years, we have been strengthening our military families with the help and generosity of our valued donors.
Relocations, deployments, and frequent training in the field present unique challenges to our service members, impacting spousal employment opportunities, family bonding, and financial well-being. At times, they struggle to fully provide the basics for themselves or their families.
In close coordination with installation commanders, we tailor our programming to fill the highest priority gaps with low and no-cost programs and services, including child care, emergency food and clothing assistance, education programs, and family and youth programs.
